You’ve been fencing for a while and have decided to go to a tournament. Congratulations! This is a big step! The whole process can be a little overwhelming, so here’s a checklist to make sure you have everything you need. I have also included some suggestions of items parents/spectators might want to take along. A sabre event will last anywhere from 1.5 to 4 hours, depending on the number of competitors and how organized the event is, so you’ll need to plan accordingly.
