For fencers wanting more guided supervision during bouting. Appropriate for Basic level or higher fencers and focuses on the basic elements of bouting and refereeing. Full set of training and bouting gear, including: Fencing Knickers, Fencing Jacket, Plastron, Competition Glove, Mask, Sabre, Lame, Body and Head Cords, Overglove Fencers will learn to: - Don appropriate personal equipment for bouting - Adapt footwork and bladework actions for basic sabre bouting scenarios - Demonstrate knowledge of fencing equipment and field-of-play - Demonstrate appropriate referee commands and movements during a bout - Apply rules of right-of-way to determine scoring priority - Identify simple actions
