Competitive Program
For the advanced Youth or Adult Fencer who is interested in serious competitive fencing on the regional and national level, we offer our Competitive Fencing Program as an add-on to the regular Recreational Level class. The Competitive Program provides individualized age- and skill level-appropriate instruction (in addition to group instruction and practice as part of the Recreational Class) in a long-term setting tailored for the specific needs of the athlete in the context of appropriate periodization training schedules. The Competitive Program is by invitation of the staff and requires a substantial commitment of time and energy on the part of the coach. We ask for a similar commitment from the student for a full term, and are able to extend a significant discount on a full term commitment over a regular monthly price.
Three terms for Competitive students are held throughout the year
Term 1: January, February, March, April
Term 2: May, June, July, August
Term 3: September, October, November, December
Youth Competitive Option (ages 11-12) Full term: $80 (or $25 for one month)
Junior Competitive Option (ages 13-14) Full term: $120 (or $40 for one month)
