A New Beginning
As many of you are aware and I have discussed with you, the time has come for me to engage in an independent operation for teaching fencing. The North Richland Hills Recreation Center, where I have been teaching beginner and intermediate classes for the past 6 months, wishes to sponsor a competitive club and has offered me the opportunity to open one there. It then with not without a touch of sadness that I must announce that I will be leaving the rolls of instructors of Grapevine Texas Fencing Center. My time at GTFC has been excellent in many respects, and I have enjoyed the many professional and personal interactions I have been engaged while working as a coach there. Nonetheless, from a professional standpoint the time is right for me to do this, as opportunities of this nature do not come up every day.
The new club there will be organized and compete under the name of "Cutting Edge Fencing Club." I look forward to many successful endeavors there and hope to continue successful collaborations in the future.
Most Respectfully,
Moniteur David Sierra, USFCA, AAI
