Local, Divisional, Regional, and National websites

North Richland Hills Recreation Center - Our Home! The Rec Center has lots of other great programs and facilities.

RecXpress - Sign up here online for beginner and intermediate classes and pay your competitive membership dues.

North Texas Division - Local fencing in the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas. Runs qualifier events to Junior Olympics (for Cadet and Juniors) in the winter and Summer Nationals (for Division II, Division III, Youth-14 and Veterans as well as Teams) in the spring.

Southwest Section - Regional fencing in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Runs qualifer events to Summer Nationals (Division IA and U-19). A good source for information on fencing in our region. Also information on the Southwest Sectional Circuit Cup can be found here.

United States Fencing Association - (USFA) National Governing Body for the sport of Fencing in the United States. Runs national level tournaments (NACs, Junior Olympics and Summer Nationals), and selects teams for international events. Good source for rules and offical documents.

FRED - The Fencing Results and Events Database, a clearing house for registration and results. Not an "official" source of information for the USFA, but many tournaments in our region are listed here.

International fencing websites

FIE.ch- The website of the Federation Internationale d'Escrime (International Fencing Federation). This is the organization that oversees fencing throughout the whole world. Don't worry--it's in English!.

Aspire Fencing- A British website that tells you all about fencing. The good thing about this website is it has pictures that demonstrate each technique or piece of equipment they mention.

Fenfool.com- If you want to find an international website, it's probably on this list.

Fencing.net - One of the best forums for information about fencing on the web. Lots of articles, documents and a great discussion forum.

Fencing basics- An interactive site that will give you the basics about equipment, scoring, and techniques.

WhatisFencing.com- An introduction to fencing, including the equipment, vocabulary, tournament protocols, and rules.
