About Cutting Edge Fencing

Cutting Edge Fencing is dedicated to teaching the Olympic Sport of Sabre Fencing to anyone who walks through our door. At Cutting Edge Fencing, we don’t just accept differences—we celebrate, support, and nurture differences for the benefit of our community. Our mission is to bring the Olympic Sport of Fencing to as many people as we can and to serve our member’s needs as whole people. To do that well, we have to be committed to including perspectives that vary by race, ethnicity, social background, religion, gender identity, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, and national origin. Put simply, if you want to fence, it doesn’t matter who you are, you have a place with the SabreCats.

We are accessible from all over the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Home to Regional and National Medalists, Cutting Edge Fencing is one of the best options for youth sports in the Tarrant County area. Our Adult fencing program is also a large part of our membership, and also is home to Regional and National medalists in several adult age groups, as well as the 2018 and 2019 National Women's Sabre Team Champions.

In operation since 2004, we have an athlete-centered approach that promotes the development of the whole person. We welcome fencers from a diverse array of backgrounds and experiences. Cutting Edge Fencing is home to top performing athletes who have achieved competitive fencing success in Regional, National, and NCAA fencing. Our programs will help you to achieve your sword dreams, whether you are just starting out in the sport or chasing a national medal.

From beginning fencing lessons to competitive athletes, we strive to serve everyone with equal parts integrity, skill and attention. We offer group classes, athletic training, and individual lessons, as well as special events such as birthday parties, team building workshops, and fencing demos. We have both youth and adult athletes pursing the sport in our gym - fencing is for all ages!

Our community of athletes is diverse and a wide array of backgrounds. Coming from across the Tarrant County area and beyond, they hail from North Richland Hills, Watauga, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Keller, Colleyville, Fort Worth, Saginaw, Arlington, Azle, Weatherford, Granbury, Mansfield, Haslet, Benbrook, Crowley, Burleson, Haltom City, Aledo, Lake Worth and more!

Whether you are a parent looking for a sport for kids or an adult who has dreamed your whole life of swordplay, CEFC is a community you can count on to offer a safe, engaging, fun, and wholesome activity. And after a few months of working out with us, you'll be in the best physical shape of your life!
